Longest MMO I ever played was UO, I played 5 years. Next was SWG for 3 years. Nothing else has kept me longer than a year after those.

I started MMO's with Asheron's Call, and I was hooked, I've played that off and on since it came out. A total of around maybe 6-7 years. I've been searching for other MMO's since then, nothing really seems to catch my attention for too long. DAoC was probably the next longest game I played, around 2 years. I've tried WoW, didn't stay for too long. I have played probably around a total of 15 MMO's, and still searching. I recommend Asheron's Call, but the population there is nearing its end, or was when I was playing. I was pretty good at it, I leveled slowly, and liked to explore. Mostly people now just play it for PvP (PKL).

Rappelz, I play it in bursts whenever I get bored of other games. I seem to always come back to it ever since starting it from Closed Beta. I used to be the Guild Leader of 7 on the Yeti server (and in Closed Beta) and I fell out of that. I can't say that I was "good" but I was good at playing a Tank and a Healer. I would reccommend this mmorpg to anyone who likes free fantasy mmos because it's being consistently updated with new content.

Everquest. I played for 5 years, left after SOE ruined it with their crap monthly expansions, or so it seemed.

Nothing else has ever made an impact on me like that game. It was my first love, and most likely the last since mmo's that come out now suck donkey dick

City of Heroes - i've been playing it for 3 years, and i keep coming back to it.  I've tried WoW, EQ, Tabula Rasa, The Matrix Online, Starwars Galaxies, and a few others but i can't remember right now.. heh... Any way from all of those games, i keep coming back to CoX.  I have 2 50s, 4 40s and a ton of 30s and below.  I would say i'm fairly good i guess... When CoV came out me and one other guy ran a guild that ranked in the top 5.

CoX has my heart as far as MMOs go! :)

(if you play, and have a descent computer - play on the freedom server :]] )

Everquest. About four years I believe. Loved it - until the epic items were introduced for high levels. Then you felt like some kind of loser if you didn't have your class epic. And it also began to steer away from soloing/duos completing anything without almost dying and the list could go on and on. (Didn't stick around after the third or so expansion.)

My main was a cleric and yeah, I'd say I was good - kept the party/everyone alive which was definitely challenging at times.

WoW. Two years+. Unhappy that it became a better gear hunt fest at high levels. Great for the "leveling up your character" experience! Great quests and all around game. Definitely recommend it.

My main was a hunter which I definitely wasn't the "best" at but I found fun to play.

Recently left it to explore other games/worlds. Giving Warhammer a try. I played CoH, DoC pretty extensively also. Tried LoTR, EQ2, Perfect World and some others.

I jumped into MMO's with SWG!! I know, your amazed I'm still here. Jumped around a bit and stayed with WoW for about 4 years, now playing Warhammer for the pvp.

Too many end game grinds and no fun, make Homer go crazy.
