Torn between 3 MMOs...

Anyone who's read my blog should know that I play mostly WoW in my free time, however after reading articles about Fallen Earth , it's starting to look better than WoW.

I know Fallen Earth has deficiencies (and what game doesn't?)

I'm a fan (normally) of Post-apoc. settings, I'm a Neocron veteran and this looks like its right up my alley, at least till Project V13 ever gets off the ground due to law suits, etc.

Earthrise also looks good... But it might take a while.

A big factor in any decision I make is whether or not a game has local servers, if not, I generally don't play it, however I would make exceptions in the case of games that really catch my eye.

So thus, I'm torn between staying with WoW and experiencing the new Wotlk content and eventually Cataclysm content (The Worgen race appeals to me for some reason) , moving to Fallen Earth, even though its having some teething issues, or staying with one of the previous and moving to Earthrise once that is released....

Even though I am leaning more towards Earthrise, it is still quite a ways out, and Fallen Earth should be able to give me some fun in the meantime.

Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

local servers?  I live in Australia and not even the only Australian based MMO (Fury) had local servers for us.  I would say ditch your local server rule, it's really not that bad to have a ping of up to 200 in an MMO.

As for the games.  I would highly recomend you switch to Fallen Earth now, allow yourself a few months to settle in/test it out and by the time you are done (if you don't like it too much) then Earthrise will either be closer to release or maybe even released.  Of course thats not to say you can't run your WoW account at the same time.  It's pretty easy to log in for raids or the odd PvP match if you have a maxxed out character.

Good luck in your decision
