So I didn't give up on my Hunter, no, I respec'd to survival, not as easy as Beast Mastery, but I think that I am slowly getting the hang of it. It definetly has a different feel than what I am used to and I think its refreshing, kinda.

I left my old guild due to raiding timings and other issues. But I think I am ready to get back into raiding after gearing myself up for the last week and a half.

Currently looking for a new guild with a far nicer & mature atmosphere than my last guild, though not having much luck, I will continue looking for the right guild even if it means switching servers to another "Oceanic" server.

I've been wanting to raid 10/25 man naxx since Wrath beta, but couldn't for various reasons, but I am eagerly awaiting my moment to shine...

Just upgraded my BigPond wireless internet plan from 10GB with excess usage charges to another 10GB plan with no excess charges, instead the data speed is 'shaped' to something resembling dialup.

It will have to do till I can get something better, can't get broadband in my area (Western Australia) due to line issues yet to be resolved.

Anyhoo, must get back to levelling Katyline, my Paladin in WoW while I wait for lunch to cook.

Last night I logged in for the first time after the latest patch (3.0.8), and boy was I shocked... I was expecting my hunters DPS to go down, but not a whole 700 points o_O though I'm still not sure if that is entirely accurate, since I had different buffs between my various tests, sadly.

Actually, depending on the buffs it seems to be between ~400-700.

My Paladin is looking more and more interesting by the minute.

But before I do that, I need to do more dailies, I'm running out of gold faster than water evaporates in a desert o_O...

I've been thinking of buying a console for quite a while now, the problem is there are so few games that I actually like the look of, being an RPG and Platform nut... Is it worth it just buying a PS3 just for a game in a series I like (Final Fantasy XIII) that's coming out soon? Is it worth buying a Wii because I like Mario and Zelda games? Or should I get an XBox 360 for whatever RPG or platformer titles they have on there?

A key consideration in my purchase of a console are several things: The number and quality of the games, The price, How resistant the console is to bumps and hard knocks, The warrantee length, etc.

After narrowing down the options greatly, I have come to the conclusion that the XBox 360 is out, there's just no way I'm going to buy one, same for the PS3 at this point, even though there is a game I want on that system - the PS3 is too pricey (at least in my country) and the 360 too buggy.

I will get a Wii, Its cheap at least compared to the other consoles, there are a wider range of games that I might like on the platform, though there are still far too many cutesy games for my liking.

However, since I am currently saving for a car and driving lessons, it would be unwise to buy a new console at this time.

As some of you may or may not know, For the last few days I've been testing Windows 7, which I downloaded and installed on a Virtual Machine on my laptop. So far I can see that it does load faster than Vista and XP, however logging in seems to take longer. I can't test graphical performance however, as Virtual PC 2007 isn't capable of that.

Windows 7 is a breath of fresh air, at least for me, My only concern is that certain features that were in previous versions of Windows would now have to be downloaded from the internet (According to the Wikipedia article, take that as you will) , I guess to please the competition.

I'm pleased to say I haven't had one crash or blue screen yet!

Since this is still a beta, It has a long way to go before final release.

I've decided to go back In Entropia Universe for a bit to spend the rest of the money I didn't spend last time, once that has run out I will quit for good. Hopefully I'll spend it a little better, not that I didn't spend it well the first time.

I will not attempt any deposits into Entropia Universe in the current economic conditions, at least not yet.

Also, I am trying out Afterworld again, I am loving it so far, but I think it could use a lot of work if the devs hope to compete with Entropia Universe.
