So by now we have all heard of the cancellation of the second beta weekend, the reasons why, seen the fall out, decided our own view point etc.
But I want to contest that the cancellation is a good thing, that its a sign that quality, not hype, matter to Bioware these days, that they are learning from their own mistakes aswell as the mistakes of others. Perhaps even its a sign that Bioware are willing to take the unpopular decision rather than give in to the mewling masses.
We also look at some of the mistakes Bioware make in the Pre-release of SW:TOR.
The Video can be found here.

I agree with you. What really bugs me is all the complaining that is going on. Look at the Europeans who say the cost of the game is a rip off. Well lets look at their tax system which is the reason why it cost more. No one seems to want to reach into the facts and draw a well informed decision. Instead they just cry as if they feel they are entitled and should have everything now.

Do you however feel the base price of the game is a little steep? or are you happy with the sea change in AAA PC gaming pricing to match its console cousins?
Personally I think that PC gamers such as my self spent a long time being spoiled by a cheaper gaming experience but the recent hike to most AAA games to a £45 mark from what was previously a rough average of about £35 is a little bit hard to take.
That said prices rise to produce games and that cost has to be passed on.
Thu Sep 08 2011 6:18PM ReportI wouldn't call it a "GOOD thing" myself. I would call it "the lesser of two evils." I think it sucks that Beta weekend was postponed. Is their a new date out yet, or has Bioware just creeped back into the shadows?
