I'm Howatch Johalla the CEO of Johalla MegaThor Corp in the EVE universe and my corp is mostly friendly mission runners, industrial and production corp with little pvp practice but lately we are getting used to war declarations and getting much more pvp practice than we really want. We have lived peacefully in EVE for more than two years and helped a lot of of young pilot to find their wings and to fall in love with the wonders of EVE.
We thrieve on friendship, do some research and mining. We love going on missions and to hunt pirates. Our goal is to become powerful and rich. All pilots older than one month in EVE are welcome, now recruiting !
Our best friend corp in EVE is BRI, BladeRunners Inc, later transformed into Relentless storm Cartel STRMY. I was so lucky that I met the CEO of that corp before she started BRI and got to run a lot of mission with the Lady Mortus in there while she was starting to fall for EVE. But that peaceful existence of helpful guidance and fun loving life in EVE came to abrupt stop a mont ago as we started to get a lot of attention from other corps as they decicded that they wanted to wage war against us for fun or to try to bully us.
The first corp to declare war against us was medium sized corp with 15 experienced pvp members callerd v i r u s. That war began on 2. may 2008 and sorry to say they killed too many of our Battleships and Battlecruisers and frigates in the first week and we lost 6 BS's and some 4 BC's and some frigs and sadly one precious Hulk in that single war. They demanded that we pay them 300 mil ISK as protection tax and promised they would never declare war against us again if we paid them. I told them in firm but polite way that we would never pay them anything even if the war lasted forever. They retracted the war 20. of may which was good thing for my corp as that war really hurt my corp members to much.
Next war declaration came on the 17. on may from the corp Death Merchants, which is only 2 man corp and even if that war lasted for 3 weeks until Concord invalidated it on the 6. of june, we never met anyone from that corp and did not fight single fight against them, so that war was more show than tell thing.
Third war declaration came on the 12. of june from Primos Locos 36 member corp that looked like it had a lot of old experienced battle hardened members. That war was invalidated by Concord on the 19. of june without any loss of ship which was probably a very lucky thing for us.
Forth war declaration came from 9 member corp called One Million ISK and only lasted from 17. of june to 19. of june when that corp retracted the war derclaration.
Since then we have lived in peace and I hope that this war period is over for now and we can keep on doing our best to have fun, fly in peace and help young pilots in EVE.
did you make the one million isk corp pay it? :)
Mon Jul 07 2008 9:27AM ReportI so happens that one of my corp members warped over to the solarsystem that One million ISK had HQ in and waited outside their station and anytime one of their ships undocked he hurt them so much that they backed down and retracted the war declareation.
So we did not consider paying them 1 mil or anything. I think ususal fee to end war is around 300 mil or so for small corp.
In short Johalla MegaThor corp will never ever pay ransom to any corp to end a war :)
