An introduction is in order. I'm Corbyn MacLaren and I have been active in several MMO's since 2001. Of course my interests and tastes have changed since then. I have certainly become more critical and annoying about MMO's, especially for somebody that has no idea how the MMO business actually works from the inside.
I have never, ever, been serious in MMO's or most games in general. I'm usually the person in the giant pink van on Auto Assault; the guy on World of Warcraft that will try his hardest to tank bosses in a pirate outfit; the communist super hero in City of Heroes; and the gigantic pink Wookiee with cybernetic legs wearing a chef's hat and apron who runs into PVP battle, effectively ruining Sony Online Entertainment's chances of making Star Wars Galaxies "starwarsy and iconic".

With that, I have nothing else to say about myself that is relevant to this blog. I know very few people are ever going to read this blog and if they do it won't be on a regular basis, so I'm more-or-less writing this blog for myself. I do plan on writing at least 3 entries a week, although the days are yet to be decided. If just one person reads any of my articles and happens to enjoy them then my goals are complete.
