Out of all the classes, the Knight exists with the sworn duty to protect and lead their companions, with faith, pride, and honor! With the highest HP, physical defense and a natural affinity for swords and axes, Knights are towers of strength. In Divina, you have two options —to fight as either a Guardian or as a Destroyer!  

Pillar of Tenacity – the Guardian

The Knight has the highest defense and HP of all classes, and the Guardian Specialty focuses on holding hate while keeping HP high. Along with your trusty blade, you’ll have a sturdy shield. The shield will not only enhance your defensive capabilities, making you a more effective tank, but it can also be swung for that last killing blow. As you can see, this allows you to be as offensive or defensive as you choose. 

Using a Guardian during PVP can be a very wise decision. Their strong defense and HP make them the first on the front lines and often the last to fall. The Warrior has its own Defensive Strategy that increases the buff from the Plan of Defense skill, forcing the enemy to retreat from your repeated explosive attacks. One thing the Guardian needs to watch out for is insufficient Spirit, which will cause extra vulnerabity to magic attacks.The Guardian during PVP

The Guardian is the only “tank” character in Divina, and the ability to generate large amounts of hate to draw foes’ attention away from the rest of the party makes it an essential member of any party. The unique defense and hate-generating skills are what make the Guardian irreplaceable as the inevitable force that can protect until the end. 

Resilient Force of Strength– the Destroyer

The Destroyer Specialty focuses on making attacks faster and capable of doing more damage. Add to that the advantage of a higher defense and HP and higher damage when using a two-handed weapon, and you can see just what makes the Destroyer a dangerous melee fighter. 

The Destroyer during PVP

If you’re targeted by a Destroyer, prepare to be torn apart. Because they need to make sure their melee attacks will take out the enemy with one strike, the Destroyer will rapidly use skills like “Piercing Hit” and “Hamstring” to ensure the highest rate of damage in case of dealing with enemies that are good at dodging.

Conclusion

To be a Destroyer in Divina, you need to be highly strategic in the choice of skills. Since the speed of your damage is a lot higher than other classes, each swift melee attack will brutally wear down the enemy. However, since the Destroyer’s capacity to be hit is greater, the Destroyer is a “kill immediately or be killed immediately” class.
