Bad localization has been blamed for some of the most terrible acts of human kind. Sometimes this is true, but not always.
As a game, Blade Wars had a reputation before it even released. Several reviews of the game stated that it was "likely to suffer from bad localization." Our production team took this early criticism to heart. We endeavored to build a top-notch localization team in order to create an experience within Blade Wars which would communicate the game to westerners. After localizing all of the game text, during Pre-Closed Beta, and Closed Beta, we received several requests to change the monster names in the Blade Wars World.
Our players asked - and we listened!
Participants in the Blade Wars Open Beta will be able to roam the world and go up against monsters whose names belong as part of the bigger story. No longer will players face the "Microcebus Spoon" (what IS that anyway?) or the "Edacity Monster".
The Blade Wars production team hopes that everyone enjoys the changes. We would like to see *more* change requests from our community - this is just as much *your* game as it is ours!
Love and Rockets,
The Blade Wars Production Team

LMAO. Pretty cool story. I'd love to see a list of "before & after" names.
