HYPED GAMES

Why do we fall into the same traps?

The Neverending Quest

Finding a place to hang your gaming hat is the most difficult and neverending quest you'll ever have to do. We all want something, and sometimes we don't want the same things. That is more reason to keep searching, but searching doesn't fulfill anything other than exploration.

Developers hype their product (MMORPG), by any means necesssary, and they should. Companies are paid large amounts of money to hype these products. Advertising is a big part of the economy. The advantage lies in the hands of the developers. They realize that more people are looking for the perfect game, than those who are subscribing to any particluar game.

Information is king, but nothing beats experience. In order to draw your own conclusion about any product being hyped, you'll need to trial it or buy it. Like me, this will set you clearly down the path of the neverending quest.

I am tired of continuously chipping away at my ideal game. It is a costly adventure that leaves me empty in both my pocket and hope. While some of us are riding around the internet, hoping to discover a highly satisfying MMOG, others are making progress in the world that has the least amount of hate.

What do we do with all this time? For me, I jump back on the road that leads to the end of the neverending quest.

I have learned to ignore the hype and save a few dollars for upgrading my computers <wink>.

Of course is neveredning quest. If not for other then for simple fact, that no matter how much you like pizza, i do not belive is possible to eat pizza every day for whole life.

For now (and im over 45) the best of the best in my life that I have played and enjoyed is duo WoW & War on one side and all the rest on the other (and also here I would count in some like 10 games, rest is not worth to mention).
