Mission : To create a new mmo system and world lore for a new mmorpg. Each of my posts will be continually updated with more details / implemented suggestions from comments posted as well.. I am heading in the direction of an evolution type game.
Using this blog primarily to keep notes on a new mmo system. It will look messy and contradictory. Final notes will be posted on an accompanying website for further discussion.
The idea is great so far but I feel that it (Like almost all the others games) is 5x more fun if your start playing at the start. Last starters will get lost and only people who like looking at game history will really get into it. A great idea forming though, I hope you can get your ideas refined and produced.

Just as a bit of background to me: I have developed and completed several online games in the last 15 years. All free to play and all were very popular. I had always wanted to create a game (not necessarily 3d by the way) as a mmo but never the time until recently to begin the design document.
Im always aware that alot of my ideas are not even unique. They are just 'what i would like to see and do'. Infact, i havnt really played that many MMO's, only world of warcraft. So when people refer to EQII, i know its a game and basically what its about, but i have no idea about the details. I dont at the moment feel the need to play them, yet. I do understand that it will be worth my time for obvious reasons, but not yet :)
