The latest ARK: Survival Evolved update brought a number of defensive TEK components into the game. These are designed to provide protection from players with TEK-specc'd dinos who have been wreaking havoc since the new more futuristic system was released earlier this year. Players can enhance buildings with TEK forcefields that can be adjusted to fit the particular structural organization of a home or enclave. It provides resistance to attack and keeps out non-home members as well.

In addition, four new prehistoric creatures have added: Ammonitina Multiamicus, Electrophorus Beluadomito, Microraptor Gnarilongus, and Thylacoleo Furtimorsus.

The next patch ETA is March 29th with more critters and mounts included.

You can check out the full patch preview on the ARK: Survival Evolved site
