The Open Beta for Astrum Nival's Allods Online will kick off today at 2PM EST! Those of you who were part of the Closed Beta and playing on US servers will be required to download a small patch in order to get going on the Open Beta, while European players should be fine with just the standard patcher.

gPotato has announced that the Open Beta for Allods Online will kick off on Tuesday, February 16th! As the name implies you won't need a beta key to get involved with the Open Beta test, simply sign up, download and play. All content up to level 40 will be available as part of the test, and all Closed Beta data will be wiped for Open Beta, though characters created during the Open Beta phase will remain for launch.

Phase four of the Allods Online Closed Beta test has been extended an extra week to February 10th, according to an announcement made on the official Allods Online forums. In an interesting turn of events, the closed beta has also gone, well, open, as anyone with a free gPotato account can partake in the remaining week of the beta test, no beta key required!

MMORPG.com has just been handed 10,000 keys for the highly anticipated fantasy MMORPG "Allods Online" from Russian developer Astrum Nival. This game is published by GalaNet (gPotato) and their are just getting underway with their fourth closed beta test. Get your key and start playing now!

Allods Online Closed Beta #4 will kick off at 11AM on January 19th and will run through to 5PM on February 3rd, according to an announcement made on the official Allods Online website.

Following a successful first phase of beta, the European version of Allods Online has now entered its second phase of closed beta. Phase two or CBT2 has added new servers, Isa for the English version, Airin for the French version, and Aro for the German version.

MMORPG.com's Garrett Fuller recently asked a few questions of Allods Producer Vince Douvier to give Western audiences some more information about the game. Mr. Douvier is with Gala Networks, the European publisher for the game. Gpotato is handling it here in North America.
