The Albion Online site has been updated with the news that the next update will be an important one with the addition of 'biome cities', central locations in each zone for social and economic interaction. These cities will be the locations for players to find others with whom to adventure or to join ranks with in a guild. Each city will also be reflective of its location and sport a unique architectural style.
In the middle of the Royal Continent, there will be a unique central city, built upon the ruins of an impressive fortress of the old kings. While the Royal Expeditionary Forces managed to reclaim and rebuild the fortress, their control is not absolute. As the city lies in the red zone, it is still surrounded by the Undead and other evil creatures. Luckily, the city has plenty tunnels and secret passages to sneak in and out of the city.
