Patch 2.6 Features and Info

The Aion team is proud today to announce the details of patch 2.6, coming to players August 3rd. Features will include a solo version of the Empyrean Crucible instance, Difficulty level adjustments, and more. Check it out.

Empyrean Calling Officially Launched

NCSoft and the Aion development team have announced that the latest game update, Empyrean Calling, has officially launched. The v2.5 patch brings updated graphics, new instances, new content and expanded features into the game. NCSoft also announced a 10-day free trial for new or former players looking to check the game out.


Empyrean Calling Launching May 25th

NCSoft has announced that Aion 2.5: Empyrean Calling will officially launch on May 25th. To celebrate the announcement, the team has deployed a new trailer showing the new features and improvements in the game. The team has also introduced an impressive array of in-game events following the update.


Paid Character Transers Announced

NCSoft and the Aion dev team have announced that paid character transfers will be offered to players beginning April 27th. The cost for transferring characters from one server to another will run $24.99.


Behind Enemy Lines Testing Coming Soon

NCSoft devs have announced that the Behind Enemy Lines rifting event will be arriving on Aion servers beginning April 13th. Devs have plans to activate the event every other week in a stated goal to bring players more frequent opportunities to enjoy 'all of the content Aion has to offer'.


Reactivation Campaign Kicks Off

The Aion team has announced that a new Aion reactivation campaign will kick off on Thursday, March 24th and continue for a week. The week will allow players to check out recent updates as well as a rifting event called "For War and Glory". In addition to the reactivation event, devs have announced forthcoming changes in v2.5 "Empyrean Calling".


New Security Update

Worried about the security of your Aion account? The people at NCSoft have introduced a New Security Update, adding features to enhance the security of your Aion account.


Patch v2.1 Part 2 Released

NCSoft has announced that part 2 of the Aion v2.1 update has been released. The latest patch brings a boost to experience, drops and over three hundred new crafting designs into the game. Additionally, the patch features higher drop rates for item designs and gathering materials.

Rifting Changes

When Aion: Assault on Balaurea launched, many players expressed dissatisfaction with 'rifting' PvP. NCSoft and Aion devs have spent a lot of time working with players via surveys and forum topics to determine how to make changes to make rifting more equitable. Devs have implemented several significant changes that will be implemented for the next month with players providing feedback.
