AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity Will Be a Cross-Platform Fully Remade Version of the 15-year Old Classic MMO

AdventureQuest Worlds: Infinity will remake the classic browser-based MMO in a cross-platform release for PC and mobile.


Cross Platform AdventureQuest 3D to Launch in October 2016

Artix Entertainment has sent word that its cross platform MMO based on the original AdventureQuest RPG will be released in October 2016 with beta testing taking place in July 2016. AdventureQuest 3D will allow players to take part in the game across multiple platforms including PC, iOS or Android devices.


Battle Wedding Inspired by Game

A real-world couple, including the CEO of Artix Studios, used an AdventureQuest Worlds theme at their wedding, complete with armor, sword fights and more. The wedding looked like a lot of fun, so fun in fact that the same couple will be married in game on Friday, December 13th.


New Events Celebrate World Cultures

A pair of new events taking place in Artix Entertainment's AdventureQuest Worlds will shine the spotlight on world celebrations. Beginning this evening, players will be able to celebrate the Carnaval of Brazil and the Chinese New Year in the game and collect costume pieces, battle against Brazilian and Chinese foes, and explore themed villages.


Heroes Battle to Stop the End of the World Prophecy

Artix Entertainment has announced that this Friday, October 12th will mark the company's tenth year in business. Developers have plans for festive events in its six major titles, AdventureQuest Worlds included. The details about the event are being kept secret but developers assure players they've never seen anything like it.


Action Figures Released

Artix Entertainment has announced that it has partnered with ToysRUs to bring action figures from AdventureQuest Worlds to players everywhere. Two NPCs, Artix and Sepulchure, will be available beginning May 23rd.


VDay Event Features Aussie Singer Mia J. Park

Artix Entertainment has announced that a special Valentine's Day event will kick off on Friday, February 10th and will feature Australian singer Mia J. Park. Players are challenged to find Mer'angel (Park herself) and take a journey into the Underworld to reunite two separated lovers. Park's music will be featured during the event.


Friday the 13th Event

Artix Entertainment has announced that it will be hosting a special in-game event in AdventureQuest Worlds to "celebrate" Friday the 13th. The event will feature musician Voltaire and YouTube sensation Andrew Huang. It will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST.


Frostval, Song of the Frozen Heart Arrives

AdventureQuest Worlds players will want to check into the game for the annual holiday event. Called Frostval: Song of the Frozen Heart, the new content features a quest to "keep your friends from freezing" and much more.


Over $27 Million in In-Game Currency to Be Gifted

Artix Entertainment has announced that each and every one of its 27.8 million registered AdventureQuest Worlds players will receive 200 Adventure Coins, the company's premium currency, on December 16th. This represents an investment of $27.8 million dollars by way of thanks to the AQW player-base.

Artix Entertainment has announced the release of the AdventureQuest Worlds 2012 calendar. The calendar is available at ToysRUs and via the Artix website.

Doomwood Saga Ending in Sight

Artix Entertainment has announced that Friday, August 29th will bring to an epic conclusion the very popular AdventureQuest Worlds' Doomwood Saga storyline. The storyline began in late May and has continued with weekly updates all leading up to Friday's conclusion.

The AdventureQuest team has announced that players who die in the game will no longer see the nine second grayed out screen but will be forced to watch an ad instead. As developers say, "players scoffed at how there was no real punishment for dying in AQWorlds". Apparently, now there is.
